Built for construction, utilities, road work and demanding outdoor jobsites, the UNINOVA 18-Vent Full Brim Hard Hat combines a durable HDPE shell with a 4-point ratchet suspension, soft brow pad, adjustable chin strap and reflective striping.
The full brim provides added coverage around the head, while 18 ventilation openings promote airflow during hot and humid working conditions.
TYPE I CLASS C HEAD PROTECTION
Tested to meet ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 requirements for Type I, Class C industrial head protection.
Type I hard hats are designed to help protect against impacts to the top of the head. Class C hard hats do not provide electrical protection and must not be used where protection from electrical hazards is required.
Standards and compliance claims apply only when the model number shown on the helmet label matches the supporting test documentation.
DURABLE HDPE SHELL
The high-density polyethylene shell provides a durable and lightweight structure suitable for regular use in construction, utility, industrial and outdoor work environments.
The shell should not be drilled, cut, painted or otherwise modified unless specifically permitted by the manufacturer.
FULL BRIM COVERAGE
The full brim extends around the entire helmet to provide additional coverage from sunlight, light rain and falling debris compared with a standard cap-style brim.
The full brim does not make the helmet waterproof and does not replace other protective equipment required by the workplace hazard assessment.
18 VENTILATION OPENINGS
Eighteen side ventilation openings promote airflow around the helmet to help reduce heat buildup during warm-weather work and extended shifts.
Because this is a vented Class C hard hat, it does not provide electrical protection.
4-POINT RATCHET SUSPENSION
The adjustable 4-point suspension helps distribute the helmet’s weight for a balanced and stable fit.
The rear ratchet knob allows workers to tighten or loosen the hard hat while wearing it. The adjustable sizing system accommodates hat sizes from 6 1/2 to 8.
SOFT BROW PAD
The soft brow pad helps absorb moisture and provides additional comfort during extended wear.
Allow the brow pad to dry completely after cleaning and replace it if it becomes heavily worn or damaged.
ADJUSTABLE CHIN STRAP
The adjustable chin strap helps keep the hard hat securely positioned during bending, climbing and active jobsite movement.
Adjust the chin strap before every use. The chin strap helps retain the helmet but is not a fall-protection system.
REFLECTIVE STRIPING
Reflective striping helps improve helmet visibility in low-light work environments and makes it easier to identify workers around jobsites, vehicles and equipment.
Reflective striping does not replace required high-visibility apparel, work lighting or other visibility controls.

Inspect the HDPE shell, suspension, brow pad, chin strap and reflective striping before every use. Do not use the hard hat if any component is cracked, deformed, heavily worn, loose or otherwise damaged.
Replace the hard hat after a significant impact, even when visible damage is not present, and follow the manufacturer’s inspection, cleaning, storage and replacement instructions.
Do not modify the helmet or use accessories that interfere with its fit, suspension, ventilation or protective performance.
