Available Custom Hard Hats Styles
Choose from selected cap-style hard hats, full-brim hard hats, climbing-style and Type II safety helmets available for custom logo printing.
Hard Hat LOGO PLACEMENt
Choose from front, side, or multi-position logo placement based on your hard hat style, logo size and order quantity.
Front Center
The most visible placement for a primary company logo, contractor name or workforce branding.
Left or Right Side
Side placement works well for wider horizontal logos, company names, department identification, branch locations, and project information.
Front and One Side
Use the front for your primary company logo and one side for a department, project, location, branch, or crew identifier.
* Back imprinting may be available on selected hard hat models after product and artwork review.
* Each logo color and imprint location may require a separate printing setup. Additional colors or locations may affect setup costs, minimum order quantities, production time, and final pricing.
Custom Logo Application Methods
We offer two logo application methods for selected custom hard hat models: pad printing and full-color UV DTF transfers.
The final method will be recommended based on the artwork, hard hat model, and order quantity.
Why We Recommend Pad Printing
Pad printing is our preferred method for most custom hard hat orders because it applies ink directly to curved and contoured shell surfaces, creating a clean, durable and long-lasting imprint.
Designed for Curved Surfaces
Applies ink directly to curved and contoured hard hat shells.
Clean, Integrated Finish
Creates a flat, professional imprint that looks built into the shell rather than applied on top.
Durable and Cost-Effective
Ideal for one- or two-color logos and orders of 50 or more, offering reliable durability and lower per-unit costs.
Easier Repeat Orders
Approved artwork and printing specifications can be reused for future orders, helping reduce setup time and costs.

Custom Hard Hats FAQs
Get answers about UNINOVA hard hat standards, product selection, minimum order quantities, logo printing, artwork approval, production lead times and repeat orders.
1. What types of hard hats can be customized?
Selected cap-style hard hats, full brim hard hats, climbing-style hard hats and Type II safety helmets can be customized with your company logo.
Available options may include vented and non-vented models, different shell colors, ratchet suspension systems, chin straps, visors, earmuff compatibility and other accessories. Product classifications and customization options vary by model.
2. Are your custom hard hats OSHA approved or ANSI compliant?
OSHA requires employers to select head protection that is appropriate for workplace hazards and meets applicable safety standards. Depending on the model, selected UNINOVA hard hats meet applicable ANSI/ISEA Z89.1 requirements and are available in Type I or Type II and Class C or Class E configurations.
The applicable type, class, and standard are identified in each model’s specifications. Supporting test reports and product documentation are available for review before order confirmation.
3. How do I choose between Type I, Type II, Class C and Class E?
Type I hard hats are designed primarily for top-impact protection. Type II safety helmets are designed for top and lateral impact performance.
Class C models are not intended to provide electrical protection. Class E models are designed for work involving electrical hazards within the product’s listed rating.
The correct option depends on your workplace hazard assessment, company safety program and jobsite requirements. UNINOVA team can help identify available models, but final PPE selection should be approved by your safety manager or employer.
4. Will adding a company logo affect the hard hat’s protective performance?
Customization is reviewed for compatibility with the selected hard hat shell, printing method and manufacturer instructions.
We do not drill, cut, engrave or make structural changes to the hard hat shell. Available logo methods and locations are confirmed before production for each model.
Employers should continue to inspect custom hard hats regularly and remove any helmet from service if damage, deterioration or other safety concerns are found.
5. What is the minimum order quantity for custom hard hats?
Minimum order quantities vary by hard hat model, shell color, logo colors, imprint locations, packaging, and production method.
Some products may require the minimum quantity to be met for each model, color, or SKU rather than combining different products into one minimum.
Send us your estimated quantity and preferred hard hat configuration, and we will confirm the available options.
6. How much do custom logo hard hats cost?
Custom hard hat pricing depends on the hard hat model, order quantity, shell color, number of logo colors, number of imprint locations, artwork preparation, packaging, and shipping destination.
One-color logos in one location are typically the most cost-effective option. Additional logo colors or imprint locations may require separate production setups.
Submit your product and artwork requirements to receive an itemized quote before ordering.
7. How long does production take, and will I receive a proof before production?
Yes. A digital artwork proof will be provided for review and approval before production begins. The proof will show the selected hard hat model, shell color, logo placement, approximate logo size, imprint color, and orientation.
Standard production is typically 2–5 business days after final proof approval and order confirmation. Lead times may vary based on product availability, order quantity, logo complexity, number of imprint locations packaging requirements, and shipping arrangements.
Production begins after the artwork, product specifications, payment or approved purchase terms and all order details have been confirmed. Please include your required delivery date when requesting a quote so we can confirm availability and timing.
8. Can I order a printed sample before placing a bulk order?
Printed or pre-production samples may be available depending on the hard hat model, printing method, order quantity, and project requirements.
Sample, setup, and shipping charges may apply, and a printed sample can add time to the project schedule. For many orders, a digital artwork proof is used for approval before full production.
Please include your sample requirements and required delivery date when requesting a quote.
9. What printing method do you use for custom hard hats?
Pad printing and full-color UV DTF transfers are available for selected custom hard hat models.
For one- or two-color logos and orders of 30 or more hard hats, pad printing is generally recommended. The process uses a flexible silicone pad to apply ink directly to curved or contoured areas of the hard hat shell. It provides a clean, professional, and durable finish for company names, lettering, symbols, and spot-color logos.
For logos with more than two colors, full-color artwork, gradients, fine details, or orders of fewer than 30 hard hats, a UV DTF transfer may be the more practical option. UV DTF transfers can reproduce detailed, full-color designs without requiring a separate print setup for each color.
Pad printing has a flatter, direct-to-shell appearance, while UV DTF transfers have a slightly raised, glossy finish. The recommended method will be confirmed after we review the hard hat model, shell material, artwork, imprint location, and order quantity.
10. Can I mix different hard hat colors or models in one order?
Mixed colors or models may be available, but minimum quantities can apply separately to each hard hat model, shell color, SKU, logo setup or imprint configuration.
For example, the same logo printed on white and yellow hard hats may require separate production quantities or setup confirmation.
Send us the quantity required for each model and color so we can review the most practical ordering option.
