Built for electrical contractors, utility crews, construction teams and industrial workplaces, the UNINOVA Type I Class E Full Brim Hard Hat combines a durable non-vented HDPE shell with an adjustable 4-point ratchet suspension, soft brow pad, chin strap and reflective striping.
The full brim provides additional coverage around the head, while the non-vented design is intended for work environments where Class E electrical head protection is required.
TYPE I CLASS E HEAD PROTECTION
Tested to meet applicable ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 requirements for Type I, Class E industrial head protection.
Type I hard hats are designed to help protect against impacts to the top of the head. Class E hard hats are designed for work environments where electrical protection is required.
Standards and compliance claims apply only when the model number shown on the product label matches the supporting test documentation.
NON-VENTED ELECTRICAL DESIGN
The solid, non-vented shell helps maintain the helmet’s electrical protective construction. This design is suitable for electricians, utility workers and contractors working in environments where vented Class C helmets are not appropriate.
Do not drill, cut, paint or otherwise modify the shell. Modifications may affect the helmet’s protective performance and electrical classification.
DURABLE HDPE SHELL
The high-density polyethylene shell provides a durable, lightweight structure for regular use in electrical, utility, construction and industrial environments.
Its full brim profile extends around the helmet to provide additional coverage from sun exposure, falling debris and outdoor jobsite conditions.
The full brim does not make the helmet waterproof and does not replace other PPE required by the workplace hazard assessment.
4-POINT RATCHET SUSPENSION
The adjustable 4-point suspension helps distribute the helmet’s weight for a balanced and stable fit.
The rear ratchet knob allows workers to tighten or loosen the hard hat while wearing it. The adjustable sizing system accommodates hat sizes from 6 1/2 to 8.
Adjust the suspension before use so the helmet remains secure without creating excessive pressure around the head.
SOFT BROW PAD
The soft brow pad helps absorb moisture and improve comfort during extended shifts.
Clean the brow pad according to the product instructions and allow it to dry completely before reinstalling it. Replace it when heavily worn or damaged.
ADJUSTABLE CHIN STRAP
The adjustable chin strap helps keep the hard hat properly positioned during bending, overhead work and active jobsite movement.
Adjust the chin strap before every use. The chin strap helps retain the helmet but is not a fall-protection system.
REFLECTIVE STRIPING
Reflective striping helps improve helmet visibility in low-light work environments and makes workers easier to identify around jobsites, vehicles and equipment.
Reflective striping does not replace required high-visibility apparel, adequate lighting or other workplace visibility controls.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Inspect the HDPE shell, suspension, brow pad, chin strap and reflective striping before every use.
Do not use the hard hat if any component is cracked, deformed, heavily worn, loose or otherwise damaged. Replace the hard hat after a significant impact, even when visible damage is not present.
Do not drill, cut, paint or otherwise modify the helmet. Use only compatible components and accessories approved for this specific hard hat model.
