Built for electricians, utility crews, contractors and industrial workers, the UNINOVA Class E cap-style hard hat combines a durable HDPE shell with a non-vented design, adjustable 6-point suspension and accessory-ready side slots. Its lightweight construction and rear ratchet adjustment help provide a secure, comfortable fit during long work shifts.
The non-vented shell is designed for work environments where Class E electrical head protection is required. When supported by the matching test report, this hard hat may be described as tested to applicable ANSI/ISEA Z89.1 Class E requirements.
Class E protection applies only to the complete tested helmet configuration. Always confirm that the model number and standard listed on the product label match the supporting test documentation.
The high-density polyethylene shell provides a lightweight and durable construction suitable for daily use on construction sites, utility projects, industrial facilities and maintenance operations.
The cap-style brim offers a streamlined profile while helping shield the front of the head from sun, light rain and falling debris.
The adjustable 6-point suspension distributes the helmet’s weight across multiple contact points for a more balanced fit. The rear ratchet knob allows workers to tighten or loosen the helmet without removing it.
The suspension should be adjusted so the hard hat remains stable without creating excessive pressure around the head.
An adjustable chin strap is included to help keep the hard hat securely positioned during climbing, bending, overhead work and active jobsite movement.
The chin strap must be installed and adjusted according to the product instructions before use.

Inspect the shell, suspension and chin strap before every use. Do not use the hard hat if any component is cracked, deformed, heavily worn or damaged. Replace the helmet after a significant impact or according to the manufacturer’s inspection and replacement guidance.
Do not wear the hard hat backward unless the specific model is marked and tested for reverse donning.
