UNINOVA Type I Class C Vented ABS Hard Hat with Clear Visor, 6-Point Ratchet Suspension & Chin Strap

Built for construction, maintenance, utilities and general industrial work, the UNINOVA Type I Class C Vented Hard Hat combines a durable ABS shell with a clear polycarbonate visor, adjustable 6-point ratchet suspension, moisture-absorbing sweatband and adjustable chin strap.

Eight adjustable ventilation openings promote airflow during warm working conditions, while integrated side accessory slots support selected compatible hearing protection and helmet-mounted accessories.

ANSI/ISEA Z89.1 TYPE I CLASS C HEAD PROTECTION

Tested to meet ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 requirements for Type I, Class C industrial head protection.

Type I hard hats are designed to help protect against impacts to the top of the head. Class C hard hats do not provide electrical protection and must not be used where protection from electrical hazards is required.

Standards and compliance claims apply only when the model number shown on the helmet label matches the supporting test documentation.

CLEAR POLYCARBONATE VISOR

The integrated clear polycarbonate visor helps protect the wearer’s eyes from selected jobsite particles and debris while maintaining a clear field of vision.

The visor has been tested to meet applicable EN 166 and ANSI Z87.1-2015 requirements when confirmed by the matching test report and product model number.

Inspect the visor before every use. Replace it if it becomes cracked, deeply scratched, distorted or otherwise damaged.

The visor does not replace a full face shield when the workplace hazard assessment requires additional face protection.

DURABLE ABS SHELL

The impact-resistant ABS outer shell provides a durable and lightweight structure for regular use in construction, maintenance, utility and industrial environments.

The shell should not be drilled, cut, painted or otherwise modified unless specifically permitted by the manufacturer.

8 ADJUSTABLE VENTS

Eight adjustable ventilation openings allow workers to control airflow based on working conditions. Opening the vents promotes cooling during warm-weather work and extended shifts.

The ventilation system does not make the helmet waterproof and does not provide electrical protection.

6-POINT RATCHET SUSPENSION

The adjustable 6-point suspension distributes the helmet’s weight across multiple contact points for a more balanced and comfortable fit.

The rear ratchet system allows the wearer to tighten or loosen the helmet without removing it. The adjustable sizing system accommodates head circumferences from approximately 20 to 25 inches.

MOISTURE-ABSORBING SWEATBAND

The internal sweatband helps absorb moisture before it reaches the wearer’s eyes, supporting greater comfort during long shifts and warm working conditions.

Allow the sweatband to dry completely after cleaning and replace it when heavily worn or damaged.

ADJUSTABLE CHIN STRAP

An adjustable chin strap is included to help keep the hard hat properly positioned during bending, overhead work and other active jobsite movements.

Adjust the chin strap before every use. The chin strap helps retain the helmet but is not a fall-protection system.

Integrated side slots support selected compatible accessories, including:
