UNINOVA Type I Class C Vented Climbing-Style Safety Helmet with Clear Visor

Built for construction, maintenance, industrial operations and other demanding jobsites, the UNINOVA Type I Class C Vented Safety Helmet combines a durable ABS shell with a clear polycarbonate visor, adjustable 6-point ratchet suspension, moisture-absorbing sweatband and adjustable chin strap.

Eight adjustable ventilation openings promote airflow during warm working conditions, while integrated side slots support selected compatible hearing protection, face protection and helmet-mounted accessories.

TYPE I CLASS C HEAD PROTECTION

Tested to meet applicable ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 requirements for Type I, Class C industrial head protection.

Type I hard hats are designed to help protect against impacts to the top of the head. Class C hard hats do not provide electrical protection and must not be used in environments where electrically rated Class E or Class G head protection is required.

Standards and compliance claims apply only when the model number shown on the helmet label matches the supporting test documentation.

CLEAR POLYCARBONATE VISOR

The integrated clear polycarbonate visor helps provide eye protection from selected flying particles and jobsite debris while maintaining a clear field of vision.

When supported by the matching product test documentation, the visor may be described as tested to applicable EN 166 and ANSI Z87.1-2015 requirements.

Inspect the visor before every use and replace it if it becomes cracked, deeply scratched, distorted or otherwise damaged.

The visor does not replace a full face shield, chemical-splash goggles or other eye and face protection required by the workplace hazard assessment.

DURABLE ABS SHELL

The ABS outer shell provides a durable and lightweight protective structure suitable for regular use in construction, maintenance and industrial environments.

Do not drill, cut, paint or otherwise modify the helmet shell unless specifically permitted by the manufacturer.

8 ADJUSTABLE VENTS

Eight adjustable ventilation openings allow workers to control airflow based on jobsite conditions.

Opening the vents promotes cooling during warm-weather work and extended shifts. The ventilation system does not make the helmet waterproof and does not provide electrical protection.

6-POINT RATCHET SUSPENSION

The adjustable 6-point suspension distributes the helmet’s weight across multiple contact points for a more balanced and stable fit.

The rear ratchet system allows workers to tighten or loosen the helmet without removing it. The adjustable sizing system accommodates head circumferences from approximately 20 to 25 inches.

Adjust the suspension before every use so the helmet remains stable without creating excessive pressure around the head.

MOISTURE-ABSORBING SWEATBAND

The internal sweatband helps absorb moisture and improve comfort during extended shifts and warm working conditions.

Clean the sweatband according to the product instructions, allow it to dry completely and replace it when heavily worn or damaged.

ADJUSTABLE CHIN STRAP

The included adjustable chin strap helps keep the helmet properly positioned during bending, overhead work and other active jobsite movements.

Adjust the chin strap before every use. The chin strap helps retain the helmet but is not a fall-protection or fall-arrest system.

ACCESSORY-READY SIDE SLOTS

Integrated side slots support selected compatible accessories, including:

• Hard hat earmuffs
• Compatible face shields
• Helmet-mounted lights
• Other compatible helmet accessories

Accessories are sold separately unless specifically included with the selected product configuration.

Use only accessories confirmed to be compatible with this helmet model and that do not interfere with the visor, suspension or protective performance.
