Built for construction, utilities, industrial maintenance and other demanding work environments, the UNINOVA Type II Vented Safety Helmet combines a durable polyethylene (PE) outer shell with an impact-absorbing EPS liner, rear ventilation, an adjustable ratchet suspension and a magnetic-buckle chin strap.
Its modern low-profile design provides enhanced impact protection without the bulky appearance of a traditional industrial hard hat, while the adjustable fit system supports secure and comfortable wear during extended shifts.
ANSI/ISEA Z89.1 TYPE II HEAD PROTECTION
Tested to meet applicable ANSI/ISEA Z89.1 Type II requirements for protection against impacts to the top, front, rear and sides of the head.
The Type II construction is intended for work environments where additional lateral-impact protection is required. Standard and compliance claims apply only when the tested model number matches the product label and supporting test documentation.
DURABLE PE OUTER SHELL
The polyethylene outer shell provides a durable and lightweight exterior suitable for regular jobsite use. Its compact climbing-style profile helps reduce bulk while maintaining a professional appearance for construction, utility and industrial crews.
EPS IMPACT-ABSORBING LINER
The internal high-density EPS liner is designed to absorb and manage impact energy around the head. The PE shell and EPS liner work together as part of the helmet’s Type II protective construction.
Do not remove, modify or replace the EPS liner with an unapproved component.
MAGNETIC-BUCKLE CHIN STRAP
The adjustable chin strap features a convenient magnetic buckle for quick fastening and release. It helps keep the helmet securely positioned during climbing, bending, overhead work and other active jobsite movements.
Adjust the chin strap according to the product instructions before use. The chin strap helps retain the helmet but is not a fall-protection system.
REAR RATCHET ADJUSTMENT
The rear ratchet system allows workers to tighten or loosen the helmet for a more secure and personalized fit. Multiple suspension contact points help distribute the helmet’s weight and improve stability during extended wear.
Confirm the final adjustable head-size range before publishing the product specifications.
VENTED FOR LONG-SHIFT COMFORT
Integrated rear ventilation openings promote airflow and help reduce heat and moisture buildup during warm working conditions and extended shifts.
Because this helmet is vented, do not claim Class E or Class G electrical protection unless the applicable electrical classification is clearly shown on the helmet label and supporting test documentation.
MODERN LOW-PROFILE DESIGN
The streamlined climbing-style profile provides a compact alternative to traditional cap-style and full-brim hard hats. It is suitable for workers who prefer a secure, close-fitting helmet design with a chin strap and lateral-impact protection.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Inspect the PE shell, EPS liner, suspension system, chin strap and buckle before every use. Do not use the helmet if any component is cracked, deformed, heavily worn, loose or otherwise damaged.
Replace the helmet after a significant impact, even when visible damage is not present, and follow the manufacturer’s inspection, cleaning, storage and replacement instructions.
Do not drill, paint, cut or otherwise modify the helmet. Use only compatible accessories approved for the specific helmet model.
Electrical protection must not be claimed unless the applicable ANSI electrical class is confirmed on the product label and matching test documentation.
