The UNINOVA Type II Vented Safety Helmet combines certified top and lateral impact protection with a durable ABS/PC outer shell, an impact-absorbing protective liner and an adjustable ratchet fit system. Its adjustable ventilation, washable comfort pads, secure chin strap and accessory-ready design make it suitable for construction, industrial maintenance, utilities, forestry, arborist work and other demanding work environments.
• CERTIFIED TYPE II HEAD PROTECTION
Certified to ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 Type II, Class C requirements. Type II head protection is designed and tested to help protect against impacts to the top, front, rear and sides of the helmet.
Certification claims apply only when the tested model number matches the product label and supporting documentation.
• CLASS C VENTED DESIGN
This is a vented Class C safety helmet. Class C helmets do not provide electrical protection and must not be used where protection from electrical hazards is required.
• DURABLE ABS/PC OUTER SHELL
The ABS/PC outer shell provides a durable protective structure for demanding construction, utility, industrial and outdoor work environments.
The shell material should not be drilled, painted, cut or modified unless specifically permitted by the manufacturer.
• IMPACT-ABSORBING PROTECTIVE LINER
The helmet includes an internal protective liner designed to help absorb and distribute impact energy around the top and sides of the head as part of the helmet’s Type II protective construction.
Do not remove, alter or replace the liner with an unapproved component.
• ADJUSTABLE VENTILATION
The sliding vent system allows the wearer to adjust airflow based on working conditions. Opening the vents promotes airflow during warm-weather work, while the adjustable design provides greater control over ventilation.
The vent system does not make the helmet waterproof or electrically protective.
• RATCHET SIZE ADJUSTMENT
The rear ratchet adjustment system allows the helmet to be tightened or loosened for a more secure and comfortable fit.
The adjustable suspension accommodates hat sizes 6 1/2–8. Adjust the suspension before use so the helmet remains stable without creating excessive pressure around the head.
• ADJUSTABLE CHIN STRAP
An adjustable chin strap with chin cup is included to help keep the helmet properly positioned during normal work activities.
Adjust the chin strap before every use. The chin strap helps retain the helmet but is not a fall-protection system.
• REMOVABLE WASHABLE COMFORT PADS
The internal sweat-wicking comfort pads can be removed and washed to help maintain a cleaner and more comfortable fit during extended shifts.
Allow all components to dry completely before reinstalling them in the helmet.
• ACCESSORY-READY DESIGN
Built-in attachment points support selected compatible safety accessories, including earmuffs, clear or tinted visors, clear face shields, mesh face shields and helmet-mounted lights.
Accessories are sold separately unless specifically included with the selected product configuration. Use only accessories confirmed to be compatible with this helmet model.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
This Type II, Class C safety helmet does not provide electrical protection.
Inspect the ABS/PC shell, protective liner, suspension, chin strap, comfort pads and attachment points before every use. Do not use the helmet if any component is cracked, deformed, heavily worn, loose or otherwise damaged.
Replace the helmet after a significant impact, even when visible damage is not present, and follow the manufacturer’s inspection, cleaning, storage and replacement instructions.
Do not drill, paint, cut or otherwise modify the helmet. Use only compatible accessories that do not interfere with the helmet’s fit or protective performance.
